The Oxford Mail asked if they could cover us for their "In Business" section of their newspaper. Here is what they had to say:
THREE friends are hoping to cause a stir at county events after opening a cocktail bar in a vintage van.
Andrew Gregory and brothers Alistair and Richard Sanderson have turned a 1981 Citroen H van into a well-stocked bar in their business venture Bar de Cru.
The trio sourced the van from France through a London dealership and spent 18 months restoring and converting it.
Mr Gregory, from Kidlington, said: “Originally we just wanted to get a catering van and do coffees.
But it then grew into a mobile bar instead so we could do events, weddings and corporate functions.”
He said they had spent a lot on the project as they wanted it to look perfect, adding: “It was a lot of work. The van was a complete rust bucket.
“We have spent a hell of a lot on it getting it to where it is now, but we had to. No expense was spared.
“We wanted it to stand out from the crowd.”
And the 24-year-old said the van was proving popular so far, adding: “Everyone is really amazed and it makes a really good focal point for any event we are at. Everyone seems to love it.”
